can’t even lie i don’t read freida mcfadden books because they’re good mysteries, i read them because they’re entertaining. to make this short natalie dawns coworker bulled dawns best friend mia into killing herself so dawn faked her death and framed natalie for it. there was a bunch of other mess including dawn killing the other bully, natalie embezzling money and sleeping with her boss, dawn and mias brother getting together and married (they planned the whole scheme). overall a shit show, very quick, but kept me very very entertained
