Well, it was a great ride but the emotional connection between the characters fell short. I agree with most of the reviews that feel that bit of lack. If she had kept going with them all continuing to connect into this book before they all broke apart to deal with drama, it would have felt more cohesive. But, again, more laughs and sass. Definitely worth reading. I can't stop laughing at the thought of a shirt for a cupid that says "I blow and shoot for a living"... just that edge of acceptable crass, you know?

My puss pearl is clammed up for the night. My tuna pot pie is already put away in the Tupperware. This fun hatch is closed for business, Evert.”
