Christmas in Transylvania by Sandra Hill

4.0

This is the first book I have read of Sandra Hill. This was an entertaining story about Viking Vampire Angels, a strange combination, but it works. This story focuses on Karl and Faith. Karl rescues Faith from an abusive relationship and they fall in love. It's a little steamy, a little heartwarming, and a lot of fun. What I dislike about novellas is the inability to include history, so it is referenced to Karl's sin and how he was turned, but we don't get to find out what he did or how he decided to be saved. It is a very interesting mix of paranormal and biblical stories. The Archangel Michael makes his appearance. I also had to take a few pages to get used to the snarkiness of the narrator. I was almost turned off by the insults towards the "uninformed" but I pushed through and they went away. I will definitely try to read the other books in the series, as it does seem like it would be very entertaining. Many paranormal romance readers would enjoy this and I would recommend it.
I receved a copy of this novella in exchange for an honest review.
