This was an enjoyable read and had quite a surprising ending. The chemistry between the two main characters was really good. Their relationship didn't feel fake to me. I also loved that there was some kind of mystery throughout the entire book. There were times that the book felt rushed and cliché, but it didn't take the route most teacher/student romances do, which I really liked and actually felt surprised by.

The fact that they don't get caught, he doesn't go to jail or lose his job and that they live happily ever after. It felt refreshing.

The story felt a bit too dramatic at times and so the main character's choices sometimes didn't make sense. But I still enjoyed it nonetheless and loved the way it ended.
