💚Review/ Thought Process

In the prologue, Zalak had to cut ties with Mathijs as her abusive mam had arranged someone else for her. Zalak left reluctantly but Mathijs never forgot or got over her, she was it for him. 

I absolutely adore Mathijs flirty banter throughout the story, he’s such a sweetheart to Zalak. & I love how she’s the bodyguard, trained military sniper and he’s one of the leaders of EXODUS after his parents died. 

Mathijs is a blonde MMC but his golden retriever vibes just makes him utterly perfect!! Zalak’s PTSD and mental health scene utterly broke me but they were written so beautifully and thought out I was in tears!
