Ricochet

Not bad, just…slower than I expected. Ricochet is more of a character deep-dive than anything else, which is cool, but I missed Lo. This one focuses a lot on Lily trying to get better on her own, and while it’s important, it dragged a bit for me. I am glad she started to gain some independence in this book. Although it felt like once Lo returned she regressed a tiny bit.
Still, I respect the way Krista and Becca handle addiction. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and real. Just wish there was a bit more happening plot-wise, even though it was a shorter book.
I liked getting to know the side characters more. Ryke annoyed TF outta me (although I grew to like him more in later books). I know Lily needed tough love but I felt he was too harsh on her that it sometimes seemed he wasn’t supportive of her, just critical. Loved Cobolloway and so glad we got to see more of them. Connor is daddy lol.
Overall enjoyable and adds to Lily’s character development for the overall series.
