In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson
3.0

A slow start to get into the style in which Bryson writes, but I soon found myself interested in all the weird details and side tracks he took me on. This travel log doesn't have much to do with what Americans typically think of when they think of Australia. The funny thing is though, Bryson isn't overtly going out of the way to not mention crocs and kangaroos. He is simply giving us Australia as it really is.

A very informative read, and I learned so much about things I had never even heard of. I also liked the Sydney Olympics article at the end.
