Justice League, Volume 2: The Villain's Journey by Geoff Johns

3.0

Finally got to reading this second volume and I gotta say its still just alright. The story wasn't all too crazy however I do think Johns does an amazing job giving all the members of the league their voices. I love the character interactions and dialogue. You also get Jim Lee artwork which like I've mentioned before is amazing however I don't think it's Lee's best. I always feel bad saying that because Jim is one of the greatest but there's just something about this run with Geoff that doesn't get me like his other work in the past. AGAIN, its not bad, I just think I've been spoiled by how hard he was going in earlier in his career with X-men, Wildcats, and his Batman work (All-star and Hush). Also with John's, I don't think his writing is bad but he was doing ALOT back in this era so sometimes things wrap up a little too quick after a longer build up. Fun book all around though!
