This is a dark psychological thriller about a girl who is learning that the man she loves is a psychopath. The petty games the main character initially plays as well as the thrown in secondary romance is flat and seemed to move at the speed of light. There was also little nuance to the characters. It kept me reading because I really didn’t like the villain and I wanted to see him get his comeuppance and it did have some tension build up. But some of the plot points needed to be flushed out more.
