The Kill Artist
by Daniel Silva
My dad and my cousin were talking about books at Christmas, and Daniel Silva was mentioned. The next day, I went to Barnes and Noble to pick up the first one to take on a trip, and I'm delighted that I did.
I never would have suspected that International Thriller would be a genre I would enjoy, but this book proved me wrong. It's full of complex characters, back room deals, well-developed intrigue, and isn't drowning in absurd love stories (my pet peeve of late) that detract from the main storyline.
I docked a star, because I felt the end was rushed given how much detail and exposition was included in the first three quarters of the book. I'm not a fan of when a book seems to be rushing me out the door.
