The Secret Detectives
by Ella Risbridger
I love mystery books. I have been reading them for a very long time and when I saw this book I knew I had to read it.
The Secret detectives are sort of based a little on the amazing book The Secret Garden.
There is a girl called Isobel who lived in India and is traveling to England after her parents had died. She hated having to leave and didn't want to go to England.
On the voyage to England Isobel saw something very shocking. She saw someone throw someone overboard the ship into the sea in the middle. Isobel couldn't believe her eyes. She knew that no one would listen to her so she had to solve the mystery herself with her two new friends.
Together they explore the S.S. Marianna and figure out the two mysteries - the identities of both the murderer and the victim.
I love this book so much. it was recommended to me by one of my fav authors Robin Stevens on her YouTube channel. So I knew I had to get it.
The one thing I love about this book is the unusual mystery of the identity of both the murderer and the victim which does not normally happen in murder mysteries so that was very exciting and different. Also, I love the infusion of the Secret Garden in there.
This is a great, thrilling, exciting book and brilliant for fans of [a:Robin Stevens|7210501|Robin Stevens|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1568040442p2/7210501.jpg] and [a:Katherine Woodfine|12546914|Katherine Woodfine|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1432835317p2/12546914.jpg]
