Everything I Don't Remember by Jonas Hassen Khemiri

3.0

I liked this… I wanted to love it, but I liked it. It has a lot going for it: the book deals with racism in Sweden in an interesting way, basically snippets of conversation woven together. The part that kept me at a distance were the characters. The almost-transcript style meant that the characters’ retelling of the events were biased and I found myself wanting something more concrete to latch onto.
