Whimsy is such a loving and relatable character. For me, it was giving people folk/fairy tale nicknames like Blue Beard without the dead wives and the one with a sore throat, Ursula without the voice. So creative and witty.

Between that scene and Whimsy describing her jealousy of leaves knowing what they are. Saying: a leaf is always a leaf, after it yellows then golden and finally browns. A leaf is still a leaf even when my sneaker crushes it into Halloween cupcake sprinkles. Behold, I have found my new favorite analogy.

Whimsy addressing her mental health and working through the mystery of her older sibling along with Faerry felt liberating.  They friendship alone made my heart blossom

I love the compound word play (it warmed my English major loving heart), magic and mystery We Are All So Good At Smiling envelops and could travel through this lush world over and over again.
