I asked for this book and I got way more than I bargained for. The mental images seemed to have scarred my brain as the horror of this novel gave way. Not much can be said for apocalyptic zombie type novels. Cover to cover this book is strictly about how to survive and the graphic images and bloodletting.....ugh. I couldn't quite get a sense for the characters since they dropped like flies. Avery being the main character but she was knocked out, drugged, a good bit of the time. The secondary characters don't really help you see the whole picture. If you like horror/zombie books then you will probably love this one. I gave it three stars. Too much blood, guts, and wormy gore.
