Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
Kat being an “ally”,
  • while asking the only openly queer person for her pronouns and asking no one else
  • She calls out Evangeline for using “lesbian” as an insult but then continues to suck up to her, wanting to be her friend
  • She speaks constantly about the lack of BIPOC in the school, and makes no effort to actually befriend the people who ARE there or join their group or act on her views
  • She’s the generic white ally who knows what’s wrong and doesn’t care to actually so something about it
How can she care about “humiliating” herself in front of the popular kids in school if she doesn’t regret what she did???? Math ain’t mathing.

You CANNOT shout at Taylor for not knowing you're on financial aid, Kat. That's called being a BITCH.
