Fallen in Love by Lauren Kate

2.0

Surprisingly, this was a bit more enjoyable than the rest of the books in this series. Or maybe not that surprising, since for once, the story isn't totally focused on Luce and Daniel's romance.

Part 1: 2 stars
Part 2: 2 stars
Part 3: 3 stars
Part 4: 1 star

Part 1 wasn't that bad, it's the starting point of the romance between Miles and Shelby. It was enjoyable, but I felt that the author pulled this out of nowhere; in the last two books, there was no mention of Shelby liking Miles or Miles liking Shelby or them flirting at all, so I don't understand why she had to put them together. I suppose she felt sorry because of Miles.

Part 2 wasn't bad either, I like Roland but his was your typical love story with a lot of tragedy in sacrifice in it, just like Daniel and Luce's.

Part 3 was my favourite because we finally get to know more about Arriane's past, and the story brings a lot of depth to the character. Yes, it was tragic and tropy, but at least there was some gay representation, which I didn't expect at all from this series.

Part 4 was shit because Luce and Daniel :)
