One of my greatest sources of anxiety in this world is the relentless march of capitalism and the overwhelming presence of advertising, and the removal of emotion and human connection, connections with nature. This book is basically just about that. The writing is solid, the plot was progressing well, I was just too anxious reading it because it completely exemplifies what keeps me up at night. Nothing wrong with the book, if anything it's just too good at what it is supposed to be
