OMG! I just finished and I’m in awe…how is this Penn Cole’s debut series, I don’t know.
First things first..I am still digesting cause I literally finished 5 mins ago…
Second, the reason 0.5 Stars is missing cause it took me some time to really get into the story. But I think Penn knew this..while writing..
Anyways, here are my very unfiltered thoughts:
1. I love Diems character growth!
2. Penn Cole has invented a new kind of slow burn…like we need a new term for the yearning and waiting and wanting and can’t having and all that!
3. Luther will forever have my heart
4. I have at least 5 theories and they are ever growing
5. I am in awe and in love about the deeper meaning of the book. How no one is truly a villain or a hero, but it all depends on the point of view and deception.
6. Can’t trust not a single character in this book lol
7. My heart broke for Teller.
8. The last 20% of the book were wild!
9. This series is about to become my entire personality.
10. I might come back and add more stuff, once or if my brain settles
Please do yourself a favor and read this series. It is such a good meaningful story. And please, please, please don’t be an ass and demand anything from Penn Cole just because she needed to push back her release date of Burn of the Everflame. Just be kind and understanding.
