Dancing at the Pity Party by Tyler Feder

I feel weird rating a memoir, but I think this book should be required reading for every person, whether you have experienced loss or not. While it did remind me of the loved ones I've lost, it was relatable in the most comforting way without being triggering. As someone who worked in the field of death and dying, I appreciated how she highlighted the struggle to find understanding in a death-phobic culture. I can't recommend this enough.
