This wasn’t a fairytale, but it might as well be. So whimsical and charming and wholesome. For the girls that love love.

Plot-wise, nothing yet everything happens. It’s mostly vibes and beautiful prose, and you know what the ending is building up to, but it still captures your attention.

Assol’s relationship with her father, Longren, is adorable. They both deserve the best of the best. Is it really his fault he let that man drown… no!

As for Gray, her love interest, they were precious individually and together. The way he redesigned his whole ship for her AND got an orchestra so he could sweep her off her feet the way she’s imagined since she was a child?? And they never even talked before that… a man!

Overall, short and sweet. I wanted to see Longren’s reaction at the end but I’m still satisfied.
