This was a pretty typical mafia novel. After sneaking into a party and starting a fire in the Griffin's house, Aida is told she will be marrying Callum. They are from warring families, but their marriage forms a strong alliance for the two families. The only problem is .... They hate each other.
I really loved Aida. I liked her character's growth. She ended up being pretty strong and badass.
I wish that the plot was a little more flushed out. I thought the whole plot line with Oliver was kind of pointless and the big final scene should have been against the Polish Mafia. I also found that the enemies to lovers was way too fast. One minute they hate each other, the next... Well the shower scene.
Tropes: Enemies to lovers, arranged marriage, mafia
