This was a new take on a vampire book that wasn’t all sparkles and romance. There was a smidge of romance but since this was happening to adults, it focused more on how they feel with this urge to drink blood and what they’ve become and the newfound freedom to live the life they want instead of being stuck in a rut. The book was labeled as a horror book, but other than the occasional murders I didn’t think it was too bad.
