Summer's Edge by Dana Mele

2.0

This book started out really strong with Chelsea narrating the story in the present. I was really invested and really enjoying it. The mystery and atmosphere was intriguing.
The middle started to drag, as it talked about Kennedy and one of the earlier summers. Then the final third is narrated by Emily and it’s the summer before.
The twist was not something that I liked and was hoping it would be something else. Chelsea as a unreliable narrator due to mental illness is not something I enjoy in books either.
A big issue I had was all the narrators sounded the same so I found it confusing who was who and everything else about the final 3rd was far too confusing.
