This was incredible good. The writing was so poetic and beautiful. It was a really interesting look at grief and family dynamics through more horror style devices. I personally didn’t find it too scary, which was mildly disappointing but the plot and characters kept me very invested. I did find the end of the book to feel slightly convoluted, but overall I still really really enjoyed. A top book for me this year.
