The Becoming of Noah Shaw
by Michelle Hodkin
This is one of those books I had to keep making myself power on through to get to the end. There were a few entertaining bits, and Noah's personality is on par with my love of snarky and witty narrators, but I never really connected with any of the characters in this book. There was a crap-ton of telling in this book, and I think that probably attributed to my lack of connection with the MCs.
Overall, the plot is pretty good, I wanted to keep going to see what the big mystery was and I wasn't disappointed when I got to the end. It was a solid twisty ending.
Ultimately, I have to rate this book as just okay. Not good or bad, just meh.
I may or may not read the other books in the series, but they sure moved a lot further down my TBR list.
