The third book in the Murder Squad series is just as entertaining and intense as the first two, perhaps even more so. The addition of Jack the Ripper - no longer just a haunting, embarrassing memory for the Yarders but a physical character in his own right - makes everything, particularly the violence and suspense, seem bigger, as though on a much grander scale. I nearly overran my lunch break to finish it.
