This is going to be a bit harsh. Hope I'm not offending anyone, this is my personal opinion and I'm sure there are people who enjoy this book and it's fine.
I am a completionist. Always been that way. This book made me realize I might have a problem..
Reading this I passed the point of hating the book right to hating myself for not being able to stop. The plot is ridiculous, the characters are almost unbearably stupid, humans in the sims game have a bigger emotional range than most of the characters appearing in this book. Man, the main "mystery" is spoiled at the header of the FIRST PAGE. Who does that?
Reading it I kept wondering what the H is this, it's so bad it's almost surreal. Adding a link to a song in the middle of a book??
The main plus side is I enjoyed the comic relief - and by comic relief I mean the reading experience itself and not something that was intended to be funny in the content. I'm a bit sorry for the waste of time, and even more sorry I can't just let go without at least trying to read the next books.
Giving it two stars because at the end of the day it is readable, and one can enjoy it if he shuts down the logical part of his brain. Also I quite liked the song
