The idea of this book was so good. Two complete opposites staying in one apartment over the course of the Wimbledon season, however it just went down hill from there lol

Iβm going to the honest and say that this book was really not well written at all. It felt very childish and almost like a wattpad fan fiction of y/n and a famous tennis player and not in a good way.
This is in no way an enemies to lovers btw, they donβt hate each other at all they literally just are in a bad mood when they meet and then by day 2-3 theyβre perfectly fine.
This book was so hard to get into from the start. The FMC is so unlikeable, I physically could not read more than one chapter in a single sitting.
She was so incredibly stupid at times it was laughable, renting out the apartment although it would breech her renters contract (like how did you not think of this), not assuming that Kieran was there as the new renter and more.
Their relationship sort of happened so randomly and over nothing like it just felt like a summer fling like i truly did not feel attached to their relationship nor was i worried when the third act breakup happened. I truly did not care for the romance at all. Thereβs no reality in which they actually stay together after Wimbledon
