Karneval, Omnibus 10

damn...did anyone else kinda not care about the whole Mieuxmarie plot š¬
So the Karoku and Nai backstory was lowkey insane like what do you mean you, an experiment of Kafka yourself and always on the run, lost your dad to random act of violence, mom goes insane tryna play Frankenstein and infuses your dad's consciousness into your pet's now human child body, but you know that's wrong so you steal the child and become a single mother but then Kafka finally catches up so you pretend you want to go back with them, abandoning your son for his own safety?? What can I even say
why does the plot feel a bit stagnant and like some characters have been chilling on the backburner i eat the whimsical vibes up nonetheless but like let's start cooking
The art really hit its stride a few volumes i just forgor to mention it š but it eats so bad her chapter title pages especially š„µš„µ
