When Remi arrives in Marlow Heights to put his sick mother in his aunts hospice he doesn’t have high expectations . With no money and nowhere to live he goes to the diner where he meets Domino DeMarco son of a mafia don who everyone his scared of.  When he sees Domino take out a rival he’s fascinated and Domino’s obsession with Remi grows . This book was dark with a whole load of triggers so check the warnings before starting it. Remi and Domino’s love language is blood and bones  Domino brings out Remi’s demon and they fit so well together after all a couple who slays together stays together they feed off each others depravity and i was all therefore everything they gave. When secrets are uncovered and they find out everything isn’t how they’ve been led to believe they set out to make those people pay and you bet they are gonna make it hurt , i absolutely loved the twist that I never saw coming.
