American Wolf: A True Story of Survival and Obsession in the West by Nate Blakeslee

Solid read that was much more compelling than I expected. I think the 'legend' of O-Six is a bit oversold, but the western elements of the stories of a wolves were fascinating and the legal battles over wolf hunting were written well enough to avoid turning those sections into slogs. I'd rec this one for sure.
