This book is transformational. It can legitimately change how you view the world.
There are so many things to love about it: it's informative, it's humorous, and most of all, it's hopeful. That hope, based in a reverential appreciation for everything in the universe and achieved by humanity, is something that's easy to lose sight of in everyday life. This book puts it back into perspective.
This book has also changed how I think about physics - my intuitive understanding of physical motion was undoubtedly Newtonian before I read this. Now, I think it can properly be a bit more relativistic.
