Maus: Un survivant raconte. I, Mon père saigne l'histoire by Art Spiegelman

4.0

I was extremely moved by this book and found it to be just as relevant now as it was when it was written. I was skeptical to read this as someone who has never read a graphic novel, but I was very impressed. The use of animals was a very intriguing way to depict the Holocaust. To me, it allowed me to view the Holocaust in a new light. I feel that we have all become desensitized to the Holocaust because it is talked about so often, and this book portrayed it in a new kind of horror.
