This is a book for very annoying white girls who tell you Bunny is in their top five reads. Somehow despite not being the audience it  landed.

It’s easy to fall into the trap of “phones are the real villain” with older generations but the author I feel did a very good job of sounding sincere. The brands were right. The celebrities were right. The vocabulary was right. I find navel gazing more tolerable when the author knows the navel.

I think this being marketed as a thriller is a disservice to both readers and the author. This doesn’t belong in the thriller genre. It’s not one. It belongs in the same literary fiction shelf as Boy Parts.
