The story itself is retold by Nicky Raven, and it's not my favorite retelling that I've come across — I found quite a few errors — but it's serviceable. Really, the jewel in the crown here is Vladyslav Yerko's exquisite illustrations. Every page is teeming with detail and little hidden gems to find, and I can definitely see plenty of future re-reads of this one.
