I loved this so so so much!! I read so many kid detective books growing up and this was the perfect way to fill that void in my adult reading life. I loved the friendships, the queer rep, the personal growth, the moments of humour balanced perfectly with tension. The writing style felt intuitive and natural yet witty, it flowed nicely for nearly effortless reading yet with high reward in enjoyment. Possibly a new all time favourite for me! Will absolutely be reading the next book and I hope this will become a long series!!! Highly recommend!
