The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan

Sometimes the theology slows down the story, but the story never weakens the theology, and there are many times when the narrative aspects are exquisite in themselves. The conversations often read like catechisms, but the content is gold. Altogether I'm reminded of why this is such a classic, and I feel enriched by reading it.
