Come Again
by Robert Webb
Robert Webb's memoir "How Not To Be A Boy" is one of my favorite books. I'm also a fan of pretty much anything he's done on British TV. This book is good, but it's not great. Certain parts could've been extended and others felt rushed. It is like he had the first 80% planned, ran low on a deadline, then rushed out the ending. The ending isn't bad, but it's not as good as the rest of the book.
It boils down to a semi-romantic comedy with time travel that deals with grief as the main theme. I almost didnt want to say that, as I'm not a fan of any of that. Somehow, he makes it work in a way I enjoyed.
I will read whatever Robert Webb publishes next, whether it's fiction or non-fiction.
