Reading Order: Some things call this 3.5 and some 4.5. It doesn’t matter if you read Sweep with Me before or after Sweep of the Blade because it follows Maud and this follows Dina and they don’t cross in these two books.
This was my least favorite of the Innkeeper Chronicles. It is a novella, but I usually love low-stakes novellas. It’s still worth a read if you’re reading the series though. I’m curious to see if there was something in it that’s necessary to Sweep of the Heart because it doesn’t really seem like it was necessary to the series overall.
