Reads like a historical kdrama which I love.
I feel like this was def written for a white audience or people who have never watched a kdrama because there was a lot of explanation of Korean culture and etiquette, so a lot of saying and not showing. Loveddddd the romance between the two characters.
I also loved how it dived into Korean history , past class system, and discussed interclass relations. You can tell it was a YA book since it didn’t dive too deep into this, but still enjoyable.
