Interesting book. It felt like the authors exploration of grief and family and food, like the story of her coming to terms with her grief and how to feel connected to her mom through food. There were A LOT of descriptions of food. I don’t know if I liked the book, but I also didn’t dislike it? Rating memoirs feels weird. Also, this whole books felt like it wasn’t written for me, it was more written for the author herself, but that was actually completely okay, but also made determining if I liked or disliked this book hard. Idk.
Regardless, listening to the audio book was great because it was narrated by the author. Would recommend.
