spunglass 's review for:
The Sinister Booksellers of Bath
by Garth Nix
A huge thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins Children's Books for the digital ARC of "The Sinister Booksellers of Bath."
The first time I was introduced this world that Garth Nix has created was through 'The Left-Handed Booksellers of London' and it reaffirmed my belief that 'Booksellers' would be the perfect cover for some alternate and somewhat questionable job - and here that was most definitely the case.
I will admit I was a bit disappointed after reading the first book, only because a second book was not yet available. I was enamored with the Booksellers, the magic, and I had fallen in love with Susan and Merlin.
So, about two years later I was absolutely delighted when I saw 'The Sinister Booksellers of Bath' revealed online, and available on NetGalley, and knew I would have to request to read it early.
Garth Nix has done it again. The Ancient Sovereigns are back, and we are thrown back into an immersive world filled with magic, danger, and adventure... and statues... lots of statues.
5/5
