Gosh. This book burrowed inside of me and sat deep in my bones. It wasn't the book I expected, the story carried a journey much differently than I thought it would've, and I loved it so much. It felt like a friend telling me their story, one that I could hug them over, criticize their decisions, but love them all the same. This book was so good, and a must read for any brown wlw, but particularly important in that it didn't to cater to *any* brown audience, it was still gloriously specific to queer Sri Lankan Tamil women and I loved it for it.
