K.A. Tucker gave all of us Wolf Hotel fans exactly what we have been craving since we last read from her popular Wolf Hotel series: a chance for Ronan Lyle to shine like the schmexy beast he is!!! The book is separated into two parts: the first from before the Wolf Hotel series starts and then the second from after it ends and to me that was beyond clever. It's like Tucker filled in all the missing pieces of the hows and whys of Ronan's decision to go to Alaska and what his life is like once he comes back to Florida. He's still a bit of a player but underneath all the steamy hijinks he and his buddy Connor get up to and it's a LOT, I loved that Ronan is truly a stand-up guy. Showing that once he commits to someone, whether it's for a week or 4 years, when he says he's with you, you are the only one he sees. And for those lucky enough to enjoy whatever dedicated time they get with him, they truly are better for it.

There is a ton of steam involving Ronan, and for Connor, and holy moly I was there for every salacious moment. Tucker combines all those passionate times with great humor as the banter between these fast friends, including Connor's sister Ryan where they have their own kind of love language, had me grinning often. Even laughing out loud a bit especially where Connor's wild nature is concerned. I really enjoyed getting to know Ronan that much better as his sense of decency does actually supersede his need for conquests, much to Connor's chagrin. We get a glimpse into his heart as the book starts with his broken by his ex-girlfriend Tasha as he helps heal the equally broken-hearted Ryan with a week of no-strings-attached affection. Giving both Ronan and his secondary roommate exactly what they both need to move on.

With part two, it's really interesting that Ronan is once again odd man out wrt his love life as he is again nursing another broken heart. But at least this time, his Red, has remained a good friend and helps him with a new position in Mermaid Beach, Florida at her husband Henry Wolf's new resort. This new chance becomes quite the tangled mess within a few weeks as an abutter of this new resort not only knocks him for a loop but seemingly captures his heart's attention when he least expected it. In fact, Sloane Parker may just be the most formidable opponent of all the women Ronan has ever known and with the way the book ends and a big secret dropped, I can only imagine how complicated and insane things will get in the next installment.

Overall, this is a book that captured my attention from the very first pages and kept me glued to my Kindle until I was finished. Tucker's writing is addictive and always top-notch. I fell hard and fast once more for Ronan and despite all that he has endured when it comes to matters of heart, his sense of humor is always intact and he never lets a chance to poke a bit at Henry when he can. In fact, all the secondary characters, especially those who are a part of Sloane's world, are WONDERFUL! Even the ones who should be tossed in the ocean for good. Each plays their part well and what you get is a colorful crew that will undoubtedly continue to have strong opinions, and give all kinds of misguided advice when the proverbial shite hits the fan. And there is no doubt it will!

I will hold on tight as we wait for the next book in this new series since I'm hopeful others will get their stories told as well once Ronan's is sorted. It's wicked great fun from start to finish with that added bit of seriousness when needed. And again, when Ronan is hooked on a woman, there is nothing remotely amusing about how well he takes care of her both in and out of the bedroom, boat, kitchen etc. The man is THE very definition of s3x on a stick and my lust for him is out of this world incredible.

5 huge stars!
