s3janus 's review for:
Tess of the D'Urbervilles
by Thomas Hardy
I really don't think this book was bad at all, I thought it was pretty good. I feel like the fact that there are just... other books I'd much rather be reading at the moment really just put me off it
Probably my main annoyance about it is that I thought the narrative was way too light on Angel. I did not like him for a second. Phase the third and fourth also both just felt ungodly slow to me and I did not enjoy that part of the book at all
I'll probably have to come back to this another time when I don't have so much on my plate, because I might appreciate it more then
