I'm in a different frame of mind than when I first read the book, and because of how it impacted me now, I'm upping my rating from 3 to 4 stars.
What I like about this book is that Rubin tries out a lot of stuff and then says why or why not it worked for her, not that everyone HAS to do it to be happy.
She also validates my need to take seemingly useless notes when I read, as if I'm preparing for the strangest lifelong research project ever.
One issue I do have (and that I had the first time I read it) is that Rubin is a writer, so she's self-employed, which inherently means her schedule is more flexible than someone who is traditionally employed. That being said, she is a very busy woman and seems to get a lot done. I'd love to see what her day looks like, because I constantly wonder what productive people AREN'T doing that I am, and also, when do busy people exercise?
