Vendetta by Catherine Doyle

I really enjoy this book, I didn't think I'd like it at first and I never expected the storyline to be what it was. It has action, drama, suspense, sass and romance all rolled together!
(And it proves: never underestimate the quiet ones!)

Sophie 'Persephone' I love, she is super shy but takes no shit from anyone. I like how curious she is and how she won't let anything slobs until she's got to bottom of it all. And I like the strange love/hate relationship she has with Luca. I liked that even more than the main guy in Sophie's vision.

Nic 'Nicoli' on the other hand, I love that he has so much love for his family and everything that comes with that. And I like that he tries his darnedest to stay away from Sophie, but just can't; even though he should. In the end I'm glad that he opens up and sticks by her, in his own weird way. But I'm betting he's jealous of his brother now!

Without giving away spoilers, I'm glad that the secret held in Nic & Luca's family was there because it was a change in how characters usually meet. I've never known it to be under those kind of circumstances.
The storyline flowed well and the characters were written wonderfully!

I can't wait for book two!
