Une femme sous la menace
by Nora Roberts
I was hesitant about reading this at first. I got The Witness for my birthday, and although I knew who Nora Roberts was, I had no idea what this book was about. I don't believe I've ever read a book concentrating on the police and witness protection before, but I think this was a good beginning. While there was the investigation side, the writing was mainly focused on the character development. I had an issue with it because I was under the impression that it lacked of emotions— but towards the middle of the book I understood it was part of Abigail's development. I loved the ending because it was how I imagined it would be, and it also wasn't frustrating.
