Okay, so I loved this book. I was a little wary about it, because mythology books tend to be hit-or-miss for me, and I'm not, like, the biggest fan of Percy Jackson. However, I really enjoyed the stories. They're super easy to read, and they're told in a very fun way that sticks close enough to well-known versions of these myths. Also, they had that perfect brand of humour that I adore, which made it even better.
My absolute favourite thing, though, was that the book didn't romanticise the Hades/Persephone story. It bothers me just how romantic it's gotten to be nowadays, when it really isn't romantic at all, so I appreciated the change.
This was overall a very good mythology book, and I absolutely recommend it, to anyone - people who are brand-new to Greek myth, or long-time enthusiasts, and everyone in between.
