Erotism: Death and Sensuality by Georges Bataille

An enjoyable read, with some very interesting points. However, I disagreed with one of Bataille's central ideas, which made the rest of his theorizing stand on shaky ground. Nevertheless, there was a lot of pieces of this that were relevent to other things I've been reading, and I can see myself thinking about Erotism: Death and Sensuality more in the future.
There is a section on sex work that is dehumanizing to the workers in that profession.
